News About Ongoing Church Activities

    CHILDREN's and Youth music News

Our goal is to immerse children and their parents in the creativity of music-making within the context of community. We have a twice-per-week music time for children in the nursery school. In addition, music is featured monthly in Sunday School classes and in the every-other-month Children’s Chapel sessions. We’ll experience the wonderful energy of singing and moving together, of listening to and encouraging one another. In so doing, new generations are coming to know, love, and share the greater song of faith.

Please let Jason Charneski know if you have any questions.

      3 T' s

    An Ending to a Long-Standing Program - 3 Ts

After much thoughtful consideration of 3 Ts (aka the Third Tuesday - or Thursday - at Ten), Jane Mickatavage and Nancy Steed, the co-leaders, have decided it is time to move on.  It definitely is a bittersweet decision for us.  It has been such a special part of our lives so it definitely wasn't an easy decision!

We are immensely grateful to the people who participated in 3 Ts and who shared so magnificently, bringing real depth and breadth to the different discussions.

In 12 years of gathering on Zoom almost every month, we prided ourselves in trying to come up with new and engaging topics and amazingly rarely repeated one.

However, as time went on, scheduling the day seemed increasingly challenging both on our end and as it related to the availability of the participants.  There didn't seem to be a time or day of the week that worked well for most.

We are fond of the saying: "People (or in this case programs) come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime." 3 Ts was a wonderful and extraordinary season thanks to those who participated.   But, seasons change and we will be moving into a new season.

We wish everyone, beautiful "seasons" in life.

Warm Regards, Nancy Steed and Jane Mickatavage
